ExxonMobil notches up mass flow meter bunkering milestone

Singapore: ExxonMobile has said that is has now delivered more than two million metric tonnes of fuel using the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) approved mass flow metering system.
ExxonMobil was the first supplier to provide delivery using mass flow meters in 2012 and passed the one million tonnes of fuel supplied back in August last year.
The company’s full fleet in Singapore can now supply using the meters, which from 1 January 2017 will be mandatory for bunker suppliers in the Port of Singapore. [10/02/15]
