HNA in the running to buy HSH Nordbank

China’s HNA Group and Apollo Global Management are among at least five potential names to have lodged preliminary bids for Germany’s HSH Nordbank, according to Bloomberg.

The bank’s owners – the German states of Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein — are now going through the bids and are likely to make a decision by the end of the second quarter.
