Longyuan Zhenhua orders wind turbine installation vessel at ZPMC

Jiangsu Longyuan Zhenhua Marine Engineering has signed shipbuilding contract with Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries (ZPMC) for the construction of a wind turbine installation vessel.

The vessel, which will be equipped with a lifting capacity of 2,000 tons, is scheduled for delivery in 2018.

Jiangsu Longyuan Zhenhua Marine Engineering is a joint venture between China Longyuan Power Group and ZPMC, and mainly offers offshore engineering services for the offshore wind industry. The company currently operates two wind turbine installation vessels, both built by ZPMC.
