Odfjell Drilling looks to offload drillship

Odfjell Drilling has said today that its jv, Chloe Marine Corporation, has appointed Pareto Offshore as broker to sell ultra water drillship Deepsea Metro II.

Deepsea Metro II is a Gusto P10000 Design built at South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries in 2011. It has been located in Brazil working under contract with Petrobras.

Chloe Marine Corporation is a joint venture between Metro Exploration and Odfjell Drilling with a 60/40 share, and Odfjell Drilling acting as manager of the vessel.
