Navision Group returns to shipowning with supramax buy

Danish dry bulk operator Navision Group is making a comeback to shipowning through the acquisition of a 2011-built supramax bulker.

Shipbroking sources report that Japanese owner NYK has sold its bulker Las Tortolas and identified Navision as the buyer of the 50,600 dwt vessel.

Navision was established in 2001 and mainly focuses on the handysize bulker segment.

Ship registration information shows Navision Group currently doesn’t own any vessels after it sold its last owned vessel to Conti Lines in 2017.
