MOL rebrands two divisions

Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL), one of the world’s largest shipping firms, continues to rebrand divisions as part of its so called ‘One MOL’ concept.

MM Holdings (Americas) is now MOL (Americas) headquarted in New Jersey while Mitsui OSK Bulk Shipping (Asia Oceania) has become MOL (Asia Oceania) and remains headquartered in Singapore.

MOL is trying to rename its divisions around the world to better reflect a singular brand of the Japanese shipping leader.

Starting out with the Informa Group in 2000 in Hong Kong, Sam Chambers became editor of Maritime Asia magazine as well as East Asia Editor for the world’s oldest newspaper, Lloyd’s List.
