Bahri ceo resigns

Doha: Having just completed the merger with Vela to make a VLCC giant, the ceo of the National Shipping Co of Saudi Arabia (Bahri), Saleh bin Nasir Al Jasir, has handed in his resignation. Al Jasir will leave at the end of July to take up a different job.
 
Under Al Jasser Bahri went through a considerable fleet modernization period, as well as entering new sectors such as dry bulk. He also helmed the protracted merger with Vela that was only completed in the past month. [29/06/14]
