Energy giant BP has awarded a front end engineering design (FEED) contract to Chinese offshore yard CIMC Raffles for a jackup accommodation platform.
As part of the contract, the two parties could sign a EPC contract at a later stage.
The platform, which will be capable of accommodating around 200 people, will be deployed near an FLNG at the Tortue/Ahmeyim field located offshore Mauritania.
