BP signs large LNG deal

 

Jakarta: Energy giant BP signed a heads of agreement yesterday with Indonesia’s state-run utility Perusahaan Listrik Negara worth $5.8bn. BP will supply the power firm 23.96m tons of LNG over the coming 20 years.
 
On the same day PetroChina signed two sales and purchase agreements with Pertamina Hulu Energi to ship 600,000 tons of LPG from Sumatra's Jabung and another 350,000 tons from Papua's Sorong projects in the coming year for a total price of $150m.  [16/01/13]
