Carnarvon Petroleum disposes of Thai oil assets

Bangkok: Carnarvon Petroleum has reached an agreement to sell its remaining 20% interest in its Thailand oil production concessions to the Dutch company Berlanga Group for $58.2m.

The agreement was entered into with Berlanga Thailand, a member of the Berlanga Group, and a deposit of $2m was received by Carnarvon upon signing of the agreement.

Carnarvon Petroleum said it is now entirely focused on maximising value in the North West Shelf of Western Australia. [04/12/14]
