Dalian: Dalian Port Authority announced that plans to build a liquid chemical terminal and two bulk terminals at Changxing Island off Dalian have been approved by the Ministry of Transport.
The three terminals are located on the north side of Changxing Island port area.
The liquid chemical terminal project includes two 100,000 tons-class liquid chemical berths with a designed annual handling capacity of 6.38m tons.
The two bulk terminals project includes three 50,000 tons-class bulk berths with an annual handling capacity of 4.04m and one 20,000 tons-class berth with an annual handling capacity of 1.28m.
Dalian Changxing Island is developing an industry zone covering 129.7 sq km, including 92.8 sq km for port-related industries. [19/11/14]
