Beijing: Chinese shipbuilding companies have received 4.04m dwt new building orders during May, an increase of 73%, surpassing both South Korea and Japan for the month.
The growth indicates that ship owners may feel that shipbuilding price have bottomed out and the time is ripe to "buy low", according to analysts in China, who now predict that newbuilding orders will increase further. [17/06/13]
