Singapore: Batam Port Office reported that two ships collided early Monday in the Malacca Strait. No fatalities were reported.
A containership hit a tanker in international waters between Batam and Singapore. The ships then docked in Singapore with local authorities saying there were no immediate signs of pollution. [31/12/13]
