Dalian: Cosco Pacific and Rizhao Port Group have signed a letter of intent yesterday to jointly operate the multi-purpose terminals in Shijiu port area of Rizhao port.
Rizhao port said the cooperation with Cosco Pacific will accelerate the transformation and development of the Shijiu port area and enhance its competitiveness in the region.
Meanwhile, Cosco Pacific is also talking to Qingdao port and Guangzhou on further investments in these ports.
In the first six months of 2013, port container throughput of Cosco Pacific has increased by 9.7% year-on-year. [07/08/13]
