Beijing: China’s leading state-owned shipbuilding group, CSSC, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Zhejiang province to jointly develop shipbuilding and related businesses.
Zhejiang province will support CSSC integrate local shipbuilding resources, launch cooperation on developing LNG ships, large-sized deep water offshore engineering projects and other high-end ship products, and construction of shipbuilding and repair bases.
Zhejiang will also allow CSSC to set up a shipbuilding, offshore engineering technology research centre and information service platform in the province.
CSSC will also help coastal cities in Zhejiang, such as Ningbo and Zhoushan to develop cruise port construction. [10/11/14]
