Daya wins Technip charter deal

Kuala Lumpur: Daya Materials Berhad subsidiary, Daya OCI Limited, has entered into a charter party contract with Norwegian offshore firm Technip Norge AS for the provision of an offshore subsea construction vessel together with a range of offshore services on a long-term charter basis.
 
The vessel will be used in the North Sea and North Atlantic regions and the charter is for a period of 100 to 175 days per year for 7 years, commencing in August 2013 until 2020. The estimate value of the entire deal is from RM 250 million to RM440 million, depending on utilisation. [20/08/13]
