DeepOcean awarded subsea work by Statoil

DeepOcean has been awarded a contract by Statoil to provide survey and light construction services in 2017.

Offshore work will be undertaken in 2017 with a vessel from DeepOcean’s in-house fleet.

“We are delighted to continue our relationship with Statoil. We have invested heavily in technology that supports the industries need for increased productivity, lowering the cost base. This award comes in the form of an extension of the work conducted for Statoil in 2016 were we proved significant cost savings for Statoil gaining several weeks of operational time,” said Ottar Mæland, DeepOcean’s chief commercial officer.
