Diana Shipping offloads another older panamax

Greek dry bulk owner Diana Shipping has sold 2001-built panamax dry bulk vessel Nirefs to an unaffiliated third party.

The vessel was sold for $6.71m, slightly below the $7.1m fair market value placed on the ship by MSI.

Delivery to the unnamed buyer is expected by October 30, and reduced the Diana Shipping fleet to 43 vessels in total. The company has been consistently selling off its older panamaxes since November 2018.
