Diana Shipping panamax bulker sell-off continues

Greek dry bulk owner Diana Shipping has offloaded another panamax vessel with the sale of 2005-built Clio for a price of $7.4m.

The vessel, which is valued at $8.44m by VesselsValue, has a survey due in March 2020 and will be delivered to the buyer by November 29.

Diana Shipping has been selling off its panamaxes since last November, the Clio being the eighth panamax bulker to go in a one-year period. Five of the sales were 2001-built vessels, while two were 2014-built vessels with surveys due. The company has not brought in any vessels since 2017.

A buyer for this latest sale has yet to be revealed.
