DME-EUMT: Efficiency solutions

Svendborg: A fully integrated partnership between Dan-Marine Europe (DME) and European Marine Technology (EUMT) has been established, announced just yesterday.
The new venture has been possible after SeaMall’s founder and CEO, Per Nykjaer Jensen, decided to hand over the helm to SeaMall’s COO Alexander Petersen. This decision was made in order to be able to allocate time and resources for the marine equipment business, previously trading under the name DM-SeaMall.
The new partnership, DME-EUMT, has hereafter taken over all rights, clients and existing accounts from DM-SeaMall.
DME-EUMT will cover pan-Europe and is a one-stop shop for a wide range of marine products and services related to energy savings and more efficient/safe operation. The new trade house was founded by Per Nykjaer Jensen, who heads the EUMT office in Scandinavia and Anders Steen Soerensen, who heads the Dan-Marine office in Greece. Together the two partners represent more than 50 years of experience across the maritime industry, where they have both held a number of top management positions.
DME-EUMT offers a wide range of products and services: Heavy Duty Marine LED light, MGO Chillers, HVAC systems, Enthalpy Wheels, Boilers and Economizers, Advanced Alarm Systems, Cooling and Heating Coils, Inert Gas Systems, Performance Monitoring Systems, Real-Time Water Quality Monitoring Systems, Shore Power Connection Systems, Heat Management Systems, Container Fittings and High Pressure Cleaning Systems.
“Using DME-EUMT means the shipowner will get a strategic partner to assist his organisation in striving for better fuel and energy efficiency,” argues co-founder Jensen.
A typical job could be an efficiency survey for the fleet and thereafter proposals to the shipowner which upgrades and retrofits will bring the quickest return of investment and what will bring safer operations and more a competitive fuel efficiency. [07/01/15]
