Dynacom boosts suezmax orderbook at New Times

George Procopiou has returned to New Times Shipbuilding in China for a series of suezmax newbuilds.

Procopiou’s Dynacom Tankers has booked eight 158,000 dwt ships at one of its most trusted yards, where it also has LR1s and VLCCs under construction.

The Athens-based company, with over 60 tankers under management and a massive newbuilding orderbook in China, will see the latest newbuilds delivered in 2027 and 2028.

Brokers in Greece have placed a low/mid $80m price tag on the vessels, which adds to another two suezmaxes contracted at New Times at $83m earlier this year.
