Eidesvik CSV awarded offshore wind contract

Norway’s Eidesvik has secured work for subsea construction vessel Viking Neptun to keep it operating through the winter season.

Offshore wind industry specialist Adwen has awarded Eidesvik a five-month contract utilising the vessel for offshore wind support work.

Jan Fredrik Meling, CEO of Eidesvik, commented “I am very pleased with our organisation’s ability to find employment for the Viking Neptun in the renewable market. This is the fourth contract Eidesvik has been awarded in the offshore wind market since the beginning of 2016.”

The contract is scheduled to commence mid-October.
