Eidesvik Offshore secures contract extension from Siemens Gamesa

Germany’s Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy has extended the charter of Eidesvik Offshore’s maintenance and support vessel Acergy Viking by an additional year.

The extension will expand the firm period of the vessel’s contract to the end of January 2022, with further options available.

“We are very pleased with the good cooperation established with Siemens Gamesa, and we look forward to continuing our service deliveries to them,” said CEO Jan Fredrik Meling.

This week, Eidesvik Offshore was also awarded a PSV contract by Aker BP.
