Eidesvik Offshore has been awarded a two-year contract extension by Siemens for service operations vessel Acergy Viking.
.The vessel is now contracted through to the end of January 2020 performing SOV duties in the German sector of the North Sea.
Jan Fredrik Meling, CEO of Eidesvik Offshore, commented: “We are proud of the solid operations delivered by the vessel and crew resulting in this long term extension. This extension will enable us to further strengthen our relationship with a strategic important client for Eidesvik in this exiting and evolving market.”
Siemens originally contracted the vessel in January for a period of six months with options. This latest extension also includes options beyond the firm period.
