EMGS awarded South American survey contract

Seismic survey specialist Electromagnetic Geoservices (EMGS) has been awarded a proprietary data acquisition survey contract in South America.

The contract, with an undisclosed customer, is valued at around $8m.

EMGS has now mobilised 2001-built survey vessel Atlantic Guardian to South America, and work is expected to commence before the end of the year.

Grant Rowles

Grant spent nine years at Informa Group based in London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. He gained strong management experience in publishing, conferences and awards schemes in the shipping and legal areas, working on a number of titles including Lloyd's List.
