EMGS looking for new CEO after Vermeijden resigns

Offshore seismic specialis EMGS has announced the resignation of its CEO Christiaan Vermeijden due to personal reasons.

Vermeijden, who has held the CEO position since February 2016, will leave the company at the end of the year.

Eystein Eriksrud, chairman of EMGS, commented: “We regret that Christiaan Vermeijden has resigned but we respect his decision. On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to thank him for his dedication to EMGS and wish him all the best in the future.”

The company is now looking for a replacement.

Grant Rowles

Grant spent nine years at Informa Group based in London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. He gained strong management experience in publishing, conferences and awards schemes in the shipping and legal areas, working on a number of titles including Lloyd's List. In 2009 Grant joined Seatrade responsible for the commercial development of Seatrade’s Asia products. In 2012, with Sam Chambers, he co-founded Asia Shipping Media.
