Eneti’s Seajacks lines up Asia Pacific contract

Offshore wind support vessel owner Eneti has announced a new potential contract win in the Asia Pacific region for its subsidiary Seajacks.

Seajacks has penned a reservation agreement with an undisclosed client for the utilisation of its 2012-built self-propelled jackup vessels Seajacks Zaratan between five and six months.

The Monaco-based Eneti said the contract if executed, would start in the second quarter of 2024 and generate between €32.5m ($35.4m) and €38m ($41.4m) of revenue after estimated project costs.

Seajacks also recently secured a contract for one of the three NG2500-class vessels in Northwest Europe, starting in the fourth quarter of 2023. The vessel will be utilised between 90 and 145 days, earning between $5.9m and $9.5m.
