Hanoi: Italy's Eni has signed two production sharing contracts with Vietnam's state-owned oil and gas company PetroVietnam for the exploration of two blocks offshore Vietnam.
One of the blocks is fully owned by Eni, the other block is co-owned by Eni and Santos Vietnam.
"The participation in these two new high-potential blocks will consolidate our presence in the area and support our growth in the Pacific basin," said Eni's CEO.
Eni currently operates four offshore exploration blocks off Vietnam. [14/10/14]
