Fees at Dammam up 10% this year

 

Doha: Costs for shippers using the King Abdul Aziz Port in Dammam have jumped by around 10% this year on the back of delays largely coming from slow customs clearance. Goods are taking far longer to process through the port, as larger ships call. Local authorities are looking at ways to smooth customs clearance.  [28/05/13]
