Fire put out at Kuwaiti refinery

Dubai: Kuwait National Petroleum Company a fire that broke out yesterday in Port Abdullah refinery as a result of an oil leak has been put out. The refinery’s operations, shipping and exports were not affected by the fire, and no injuries were reported. The fire has however hit the refinery’s capacity, dropping from 270,000 barrels to 80,000 barrels.  [22/08/13]
