Dalian: A Dalian shipowner is updating its fleet with an order for four new bulkers. Fortune Ocean Shipping has opted for four ultramaxes at Dalian COSCO KHI Ship Engineering (DACKS). The four 61,000 dwt vessels will have an overall length of 199.9 m, beam of 32.24 m, and depth of 18.6 m, with delivery scheduled for the second half of 2016.
The ships will be flagged in Singapore and will be classed by Class NK.
Fortune Ocean Shipping is a Dalian-based vessel charterer, it mainly charters its vessels to large state owned shipping companies including COSCO and Sinotrans & CSC. [03/06/14]
