Taipei: Kaohsiung-based Franbo Lines has signed an agreement with Japanese shipping company Exeno Yamamizu.
Under the agreement, Franbo Lines will order three 16,500dwt bulkers at Japan’s Honda Shipyard, and the vessels will be chartered to Exeno Yamamizu upon delivery.
The price for each vessel is $20m, and deliveries are scheduled in August 2015, December of 2015 and March of 2016.
Franbo Lines launched its IPO in Taipei last week, and it is actively looking to expand its fleet and increase long-term charter contracts. [14/09/14]
