New York-based Gener8 Maritime has done a deal to sell two of its very large crude carriers (VLCCs) – both built last year – to Malaysian owner AET.
Gener8 is selling the 2016-built pair Gener8 Noble and Gener8 Theseus for $81m each.
Gener8 Maritime has a fleet of 40 tankers, more than half of which are VLCCs.
