Shanghai: The ship repair market this year remains gloomy, and might get worse, major Chinese ship repair companies said at an industry gathering.
According to the statistics from the meeting, in the first quarter, the major 15 ship repair companies in China have repaired 798 ships, 12 ships more than the same period of the last year, however, the output value declined RM438m, a drop of 16.6% year-on-year.
The delegates of the meeting predicted a slow recovery of the industry. [13/06/13]
