Dubai: Terminal operator Gulftainer, a wholly-owned subsidiary of United Arab Emirates-based Crescent Enterprises, has won its first terminal concession in North America. Gulftainer has won a 35-year contract to operate a terminal in Port Canaveral in Florida.
The UAE company will invest up to $100m on the new port with an aim of creating a 700,000 teu a year facility. [25/06/14]
