Haibao Shipping to increase bulk capacity from Brazil

Shanghai: Haibao Shipping, the joint venture of Baosteel and China Shipping, is to increase bulk capacity on Brazilian routes due to the active iron ore import market.

With the increasing iron ore import demand of Baosteel, China Shipping and Baosteel will tighten cooperation and stabilize the operation of Haibao Shipping.

The Hong Kong-based Haibao Shipping was set up in 2008, originally planning to invest in six VLOCs for the iron ore transport from Brazil/Australia to China. [15/08/13]
