Hainan Zhaogang Marine orders LPG carrier at CSSC Guangxi

Hainan Zhaogang Marine has placed an order at CSSC Guangxi Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering for the construction of a 5,000 cu m LPG carrier.

The vessel, which will be equipped with type-c tanks, will be built at CSSC Guangxi’s Qinzhou yard and it will be deployed for domestic coastal LPG transportation upon delivery at the end of this year.

The vessel will be the largest vessel in Hainan Zhaogang’s fleet. The company currently operates three small LPG carriers with capacity ranging from 1,600 cu m to 2,500 cu m.
