There’s a host of new topical questions posed today in the latest MarPoll, our quarterly online survey.
Environmental matters rank high in this new poll. For instance, we ask readers whether IMO’s targets for its energy efficiency design index (EEDI) should be tightened. Elsewhere we ask whether this year’s record S&P activity is justifiable, while turning to offshore we ponder whether this tough market has finally bottomed out.
In all, there are nine questions posed in a survey that can be filled out in as little as two minutes (although we always appreciate readers leaving comments too). There is no registration for the survey either.

Among key results, Oslo was crowned as the city leading shipping’s tech revolution, while readers felt overwhelmingly the lifespan of ships was set to get shorter and you also held interesting opinions on who was leading the unmanned vessel debate.
