Kambara Kisen sells another supramax

Just one week after brokers reported its last supramax sale, Japan’s Kambara Kisen has sold another. The owner, which also owns shipyard group Tsuneishi, continues to modernise its already young supramax fleet, averaging just six years.

This week it’s tonnage hungry Great Eastern Shipping of India that appears to have snapped up the 52,450 dwt bulker Tenshou Maru built in 2006 in an off market sale.

Last week it was Greece’s Pavimar that was linked to the one year younger supramax Stella Maris for about $9.6m.
