Klaveness Combination Carriers extends options for four newbuilds at Yangzijiang

Klaveness Combination Carriers (KCC) has extended an option to build additional four CLEANBU combination carriers at Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding.

Additionally, KCC has been given the option to contract additional two CLEANBU vessels.

The six fixed price options, with expiry in the period between February 2020 and January 2021, have scheduled delivery dates in the period September 2021 to November 2022.

KCC had previously ordered a total of eight CLEANBU combination carriers at Yangzijiang. Three have been delivered this year, and the remaining five are under construction.

KCC currently owns a fleet of 12 combination carriers.
