Greater China

Latest issue of SinoShip magazine available online

Dalian: The latest issue of SinoShip magazine is now available to read free of charge online. This edition’s cover story features an exclusive interview with Wang Jing, the Beijing telecoms tycoon who plans to build a canal across Nicaragua.

As ever, the dual language magazine is packed with exclusive interviews, content and data assembled by SinoShip’s 12 correspondents across six cities in Greater China.

The legal feature is essential reading for any shipowner calling in China, with local courts clamping down on accidents in Chinese waters. The Chinese banking system is taken to task by economist Paul French, while SinoShip outlines which ports are ready to accept the soon-to-be accepted controversial valemax bulkers, as well as highlighting what the new free trade zone in Shanghai means for shipping.

The magazine is distributed to the top owners and yards in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan and will be at the following events: TPM Asia in Shenzhen, the SinoShip Dry Bulk Business Breakfast in Hong Kong, the Cosco World Shipping Summit in Ningbo, and Marine Money’s China event in Beijing. No other title in maritime publishing gets read by more Chinese shipowners.

The next issue of the magazine comes out in time for Asia’s largest maritime show, Marintec China in Shanghai. SinoShip is an official media partner at the UBM-organised event. Features in Issue 4 include propulsion, insurance and a special on Shanghai’s growing status on the international maritime map. For more details contact grant@asiashippingmedia.com.
