MAN to supply dual-fuel engines to Chinese LNG carriers

Shanghai: MAN Diesel & Turbo has won the contract to supply the engines for six Chinese LNG carriers jointly owned by Sinopec Kantons, MOL and China Shipping LNG. The order for the 30 × MAN 51/60DF dual-fuel engines will go on ships being built by Shanghai Hudong Zhonghua shipyard. After delivery, the ships will load LNG in Gladstone, Australia for a number of Chinese terminals including Qingdao, Beihai, Tianjin, Lianyungang and Wenzhou. [17/07/13]
