MOL ups aid to disaster-stricken Philippines

Tokyo: Japanese line Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) is providing free transport of relief supplies by containerships to the central Philippines devastated by the recent typhoon.

The company has already made a monetary donation of US$30,000 to emergency relief efforts.

“The MOL Group expresses its heartfelt sympathy to the people and communities afflicted by this disaster and hopes they will be able to return to normal life as soon as possible,” the company said in a release today.

MOL relies on the Philippines for the majority of its seafarers.  [13/11/13]
