Shanghai: Nanjing Tanker, the oil shipping arm of Sinotrans & CSC, is to scrap three tankers even though they have yet to hit their 20s.
The three single hull tankers, Da Qing 439, Yazhou Xiongshi and Ning Hua 401, will be scrapped, and another ship, Da Qing 437, will also be sold, according to the company.
The financially troubled Nanjing Tanker has been suspended from trading on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. [24/02/14]
