Nanjing Tanker ordering tanker newbuild

Nanjing Tanker, a tanker unit of China Merchants Group, has issued a tender offer for the construction of a 24,000 dwt crude tanker.

The participants of the tender are requested to submit a tender before a deadline of October 28.

Nanjing Tanker, previously the main tanker arm of Sinotrans & CSC, now focuses on smaller tanker operations after the merger between China Merchants and Sinotrans & CSC.

The company currently owns a fleet of 42 vessels comprising of 37 handy tankers and five LPG vessels. It also has two MR2 tankers and one LPG carrier on order.
