Sinotrans & CSC-affiliated Nanjing Tanker has signed a cooperation agreement with China Huadian Green Engery Company, a subsidiary of state run energy group Huadian Corporation, on the joint development of LNG business.
The two companies intend to start cooperation in various areas in the LNG sector, including LNG terminal development, LNG shipping, LNG carrier construction and repair, and Yangtze River and onshore LNG bunkering.
Sinotrans & CSC and China Merchants Group established joint venture company China VLCC in 2014 and Sinotrans & CSC has since been gradually transferring the VLCC assets from Nanjing Tanker to China VLCC.
