Navig8 takes Roswell suezmax under commercial management

UK-based Navig8 has added back a suezmax Roswell Tankers of Athens bought from Connecticut-based Ridgebury last year.

The 2007-built 159,395 dwt Raptor will be joining the Suez8 pool in February as the fifth and oldest ship, in addition to four Ridgebury units.

The Japanese-built Liberia-flagged vessel, formerly known as Ridgebury Nicholas A, joined the same pool in January 2020 before being picked up by Michael Karayiannis led Roswell for a reported $33.4m.

Roswell already has the 2009-built aframax Seliger and the 2005-built MR Sapsan committed to the world’s largest independent pool and commercial management company.
