Singapore: Rickmers Trust Management, the trustee-manager of Singapore-listed Rickmers Maritime, will have a new ceo at the helm in June this year.
Soren Andersen will take over from Thomas Preben Hansen who has tendered his resignation.
Andersen’s past employers include AP Moller – Maersk and APL.
Bertram Rickmers, chairman of the board, commented, “We are delighted to welcome Soren to RTM and look to him to lead the charge to further strengthen our balance sheet while at the same time improve our yield with the gradual recovery of time charter rates and capitalise on new opportunities in line with the accelerating trade growth of 6.8% in 2015.” [03/02/15]
