New Red Sea port mapped out

Cairo: Maj. Gen. Mohamed Abdel Kader Gaballah, head of the Red Sea Ports Authority, said that the new project of developing the port of Adabiya will cost $380m including a three phase roll out of a new container terminal. Ashraf Atta, chairman of Atta Shipping & Customs Clearance Group, said that Adabiya could surpass the port of Sokhna in terms of strategic importance and container handling in the coming years.  [21/05/13]
