Dalian: Shandong Institute of Ship Technology (SIST) and Shandong Huanghai Shipbuilding have jointly established a new ship design company SIST Ship Design Co.
The company will focus on R&D for modern ship design technology, modern shipbuilding technology and advanced ship equipment.
“The ship design company will enhance the R&D capability and offer a new platform for ship technology in Shandong province, and it will also promote the development of the shipbuilding industry in the province,” said an official from SIST. [27/05/13]
